Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all products and services provided by Karen's Wellness Services ("Health Coach") to The Client ("you"), including coaching sessions, digital products, and other wellness-related programs.

By purchasing any product or service from Karen's Wellness Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Products and Services

  • The products or services are as described on the sales page at the date of your purchase.

  • Digital products include a limited number of downloads and may not be shared, redistributed, or reproduced.

  • No refunds are provided for digital products.

2. Coaching Sessions

  • All coaching will be conducted virtually unless otherwise arranged. In-person sessions can be arranged at an additional cost.

  • Sessions must be paid in advance.

  • No refunds are provided for coaching sessions. By purchasing, you acknowledge that a spot in Karen's limited calendar has been reserved for you.

  • A "No Show" charge of $50 will apply if you miss a session without canceling at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Clients are expected to show up on time, complete preparation work (e.g., readings, assignments), and communicate progress as outlined during sessions.

3. Recurring Payments and Installments

  • For installment programs or recurring payments (e.g., monthly programs), you authorize Karen's Wellness Services to charge your credit card monthly, quarterly, or yearly, as agreed upon at the time of purchase.

  • Cancellation of recurring programs must be made in writing to [your email address].

  • If you cancel mid-period, you will be charged for any completed sessions or services up to the date of cancellation.

4. Scope of Services

  • Karen's Wellness Services provides health, life, and wellness coaching.

  • The Health Coach is NOT:

    • A mental health counselor, therapist, doctor, or medical professional;

    • Providing medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment;

    • Prescribing or assessing nutrient levels or therapies.

  • Coaching is intended as a mentorship and guide to help you implement positive, sustainable lifestyle changes.

  • You agree to consult your doctor or other healthcare professionals regarding any medical or nutritional concerns. If you are under the care of a doctor or on prescription medication, any lifestyle changes must be discussed with your healthcare provider.

5. Personal Responsibility and Release of Claims

  • You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your own health, well-being, and all decisions made during and after participating in coaching programs.

  • You assume all risks, including but not limited to:

    • Trying new foods, supplements, or engaging in lifestyle changes.

  • You release Karen's Wellness Services from any and all liability, claims, damages, causes of action, or suits, except in cases of gross negligence.

6. Confidentiality

  • Your personal information and any shared coaching discussions will remain confidential.

  • Karen's Wellness Services will not share your information with any third party unless:

    • Required by law; or

    • With your written consent.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content, materials, tools, and resources provided by Karen's Wellness Services, including those on the website, are the intellectual property of Karen's Wellness Services.

  • You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or share any materials without prior written consent.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms will be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida.

  • You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida for the resolution of disputes.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with any product, service, or coaching program, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms unless objected to in writing.

You further acknowledge that:

  1. You have received a copy of these Terms.

  2. You have had an opportunity to review these Terms with the Health Coach and/or consult with an attorney.

  3. You understand, accept, and agree to abide by these Terms.
